Why Hemp Fabric?
Hemp fabric is strong, durable, mold resistant, and comfortable with good absorbency. Growing the hemp plant is Earth Friendly because is that it a drought resistant crop which requires little to no pesticides, replenishes soil with nutrients and nitrogen, controls erosion of the topsoil and produces a lot of oxygen. Industrial hemp contains less than 1% THC (sorry, no hippie high!). Proud American history: Presidents Washington and Jefferson both grew hemp, and American colonists used hemp fiber to make rope & clothing. During World War II Americans grew and made hemp into uniforms, canvas, and rope.
